Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through the Yūgen Art website. By placing an order, you agree to the terms set out below.

1. About Yūgen Art

Yūgen Art is a studio-led practice offering curated fine-art prints inspired by Japanese woodblock aesthetics and contemporary visual culture. All artworks are developed in-house and produced as archival giclée prints.

2. Products

All artworks are described as accurately as possible.
Colours may vary slightly depending on screen calibration and lighting conditions.

Prints are produced to order and are available framed or unframed, depending on the option selected at checkout.

3. Orders

Once an order is placed and payment has been received, it is sent into production.
Because items are produced specifically for each customer, orders cannot usually be amended once processing has begun.

If you need to change or cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to help where production has not yet started.

4. Pricing

All prices are listed in GBP unless otherwise stated.
Prices include production costs but do not include delivery unless specified.

We reserve the right to adjust prices at any time, but confirmed orders will not be affected by later price changes.

5. Payment

Payments are processed securely via third-party payment providers such as Square or Stripe.
Yūgen Art does not store or have access to your full payment details.

Orders will not be processed until payment has been successfully completed.

6. Production & Delivery

All prints are produced to order using specialist fine-art print facilities in the UK, EU, or USA, depending on delivery location.

Estimated production and delivery times are provided at checkout and may vary slightly due to demand or external factors. While every effort is made to meet stated timeframes, delivery dates are estimates rather than guarantees.

7. Returns & Refunds

Because artworks are produced to order, returns are only accepted in the following circumstances:
• The item arrives damaged
• The item is defective or incorrectly supplied

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery, including photographs where possible, so we can arrange a replacement or refund.

Returns are not accepted for change of mind or incorrect size selection.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including artworks, images, text, and design, is the intellectual property of Yūgen Art unless otherwise stated.

Content may not be reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

9. Liability

Yūgen Art shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of this website or products purchased through it, except where required by law.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
